The Hiko Contact is a good mix of paddle shoe and neoprene sock! If extra paddle shoes are too heavy and bulky, but a neoprene sock is not robust enough to use on land, the Contact is the solution. The sock or shoe has a durable and abrasion-resistant reinforcement made of NTX rubber on the sole, which allows for short walking distances. The sole is abrasion-resistant but soft and flexible. So be careful on very hard, rocky surfaces. The low space requirement in the boot is also an advantage. This is particularly appreciated by people with large feet. The contacts provide good contact with the boat. The donut system (the ring cut-out made of special, one-sided neoprene) firmly encloses the ankle and the smooth rubber inside increases the adhesion of the shoes to the foot.
